ODBII scanning BS4 and BS6

Apparently the plug for the cable that connects to the dongle is different from the simple one used by BS4 in the BS6 variant. That latter one is Honda compatible.
I use "Car Scanner ELM ODB2" - a free app from the android play store.

I have watched a video made by a German guy who explains it really well - maybe I will translate it down the line. In any case there seems to be a need for switching off the "engine" LED some times that comes on every time something strange happens in the ECU - and remains on even after the issue is dealt with.
Here is an instruction for the BS4 (not my model, I have BS6, so no comment on that):

So for now here is what I have got from Amazon so far for about 15 US$: btw: the CD is useless - does not work.

BS6: It seems every time you have problems with the relays this LED comes on. This video in GERMAN explains it quite well. This is the one I may use for translation titled: Help, my Himalayan does not start up":
