Just ordered a Scram 440 (Scram 440 discussion)

After knocking is still there my 440 head gets "oversized" on monday. widened to 86mm and where possible material removed. I hope to get to stock compression but of course it mainly is a guessing game for my head guy.

It's a guessing game for me too ;)

Engine runs very nicely, much better than before. We measured compression and while I was aiming at 180 which is stock we got down to 160. But not only no perceivable power loss, there seems to be a power gain. Fuelx pro plus was also installed and runs at 7 to keep the engine from stalling in idle which it did when we left it at 3 which is neutral. Overall this is a dream machine now and I can't wait to climb the Himalayas again.
It's a bit cramped under the seat now.

so exiting ECU didnt scale up, just like 411

The added advantage of the low compression is I can use the shittiest fuel now - XP95 becomes more rare, most stations have run out of it. It seems the fuel shortage finally has reached India too.
Did I mention the seat mod? I got a gel pack installed plus had a bit shaved off on the rear where it was too steep for comfort. And of course a off-white cover bc black burns your ass if you park in the sun.
