hey guys, just installed the 500 kit on a customers Goan

did you request and get a map file from me? if so what was its name? It does not look like you used the relevant last iteration we have.
Also: When I did my Meteor 500 I used a modified Himalayan 477 map, and although the bike ran great I had problems with idle. I think you mentioned that in your email. At the time I fixed it with installing Fuelx Pro+ but now we have a better map thanx to @Dool and FXpro may be unnecessary.

I'm the customer. I could not be more pleased with the results.Casey got it right! The boost in torque is great. I will need advice for cam upgrade in the future when everything is fully broken in.The Ol' man is happy now!

Doesent matter to me, my bike runs well and I know its compression and fuel ratio, the questions were not for my benifit.

My meteor with the 500 BB kit and the PT is doing fine. made 500 Km, now i need to change my oil, why should I use full synthetic? I am asking cos it seemed weird to my mechanic.

you dont have to but Synth is superior in all aspects except price, it takes away thinking about oil changes to a great extend. if you forget it after 4k km on mineral oil you are already in the red zone, but synth allows 10k and more (although I recommend 6-8 change interval)

Well, I change the oil every 5000Km, and if from the glass it looks darker than to my liking I cut it to 2500. Now wile in the 500 Km brake in period I enjoyed the low vibrations and smooth power on low rpm so much. I let the thump align my mood and let the bike take me places. I prefer giving her synthetic. Thanks for educating me. I love your product and you guyz for all you do
