New BS6 Hima 477 design plan using the 440 ECU/TB

I do not see how the Injector would open and let fuel into the engine unless it is told to, its static state is closed.
well, I guess you are wrong, first of all it would be useless to have it inject some fuel if it wont go passed the injector
and second, it worked to get the otherwise reluctant 500 with 440 TB to start.

I think you guessed wrong, your flicking the switch 3 times then getting a result is not very scientific IMO.
By turning on the fuel circuit the pump pushes the fuel into the Injector hose, ( of course this outlet can be used to transfer petrol to another motorcycle but that is not relevant here) the flow of fuel into this line is stopped by the injector and held at a set pressure level by the release valve.
Any amount of fuel getting past an injector would mean it has failed.
I could be wrong.

well, maybe the result was just coincidence, wouldnt count that out. but it repeated again and again whilst no switch the bike would not start, also repeated. ultimately the data set was very small. once our Greek friend gets his set we might find out more.

So i was talking to my friend who is also a RE mechanic. His suggestion in the topic is: get the programmer, code the stock ECU and remove fuel x altogether from the equation. We ll try the ECU/TB 440 route at first, but if it doesnt work we ll just reprogram the whole ECU to make it work.

Well as a matter of fact I contacted some Italians who program RE scram bikes in Italy about my scram. They said they only programs stock bikes aiming at gaining 3-4 bhp. My bike and I quote "too highly modified" to program. So I found a racing bike programmer in Athens Greece who usually deals with Ninjas and cbrs and street fighter bikes , he said he can dommy scram. ECU based on our research is from continental, so it's doable. I will keep you updated.

I plan to send one 411 Hima/Scram ECU plus the 440 ecu I have to Italy for reprograming. the 440 ecu I hope to get to full 477 support and possibly find a switch that takes the 2nd o2 sensor out of the equation. Pablo has already done stock 411 ecus to fit the 440 so I hope we can get this also done there.

I received this answer from toptuning.it, as i quote

"Good morning,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I’m sorry to tell you that we only work on stock vehicles, our software are Stage1.
We also don’t have an office in your area. The bike must be physically present here, with the key turned on and the display panel active, in order to install the new software.
Additionally, every remapping requires a test ride using telemetric equipment.
We apologize for any inconvenience and remain available for further inquiries.
Greetings
Davide
