Exhaust Valve clearance

My problem, I get a bit " Precious " at times ;)
Back on subject, the Tec and HT cams are a bit noisy, I believe I have identified the cause, it is because of the closing flank of the Cam lobe.

This is just for an example and is not the Cam in question, see the contact point of the blade?
Compare to this pic.

Doesent look like much but this "dip" arrests the rocker and helps it keep in contact with the Cam as it allows the Valve to close.

Good morning, everyone.

I would like to check the valve clearances on my 2021 Himalayan 411.
Wherever I look online, I find these values:
Intake: 0.08 – 0.10 mm
Exhaust: 0.23 – 0.25 mm

However, I have a workshop manual that lists:
Intake: 0.08 mm
Exhaust: 0.18 mm.

I read in this discussion that this is a Royal Enfield update... which approach are you following? What value are you using for the exhaust valve?

Tight and check often is my recommendation, 7 and 3 thou.
