if the economy continues on the path it is on now - that will be my next bike!

I assume your referring to the Honda.
That engine design has stood the test of time!.

Spotted in Lat Phrao Bangkok.
YSS is here isnt it?

The 46th Bangkok Motor Show just happens to be not far from where I am right now.
I have been doing a bit of a read up and spotted something funny.

Some specs for the 650 Interceptor,

The Cooling system might be different in other countries ;)

Earthquake put a stop to that visit almost there when the first reports came in, as a precaution it would have been evacuated of some 70,000 visitors (according to my SiL)so real happy to miss that. Had to drive past it, 3 hours without parking and going in.

Got in at least, being over 60 I was just able to show a pic of my passport to gain entry!
Nothing of interest at the RE stand, no Scram no 650 Classic No Bear! I suppose that how they see the market, after all the price of a Bullet in bangkok is about the same as Australia.
Yamaha did have one bike worth attention.

Complete with Decompression lever and Kickstart!

Petrol tap and EFI!
The Emissions stuff had trouble fitting in but would be easily removed if one ever came my way which is unlikely.

As you may imagine there were not many Gauges like this on show.

The good old SR 500, how did they manage to comply with the insane emission laws?
