I am trying to reverse engineer the fuel and ignition maps for this engine.
So I can see how they are neutering the engine in the first 2 gears how and why.
We have two bikes we are working on one is mine with the early BS6 single o2 sensor and the other is the new version which has 2 o2 sensors.
For some time now I am not able to log the post cat o2 sensor voltage.
This leads me to the conclusion that its just a dummy o2 sensor put on there to look legit.
PID: 01 14 → O2 Sensor Bank 1, Sensor 1 (upstream)
PID: 01 15 should be for the 2nd o2 sensor but it returns nothing.
Can one of you guys outside India confirm if you see any voltage on the 2nd o2 sensor even if its just a steady .5 volts. To fool the ecu thats all you need to do feed it .5 volts on that line.
The final goal is to have a tool that allows you to mod the ECU fuell and ignition maps. I know the tool they use supports this. Weather RE does or not Im not sure. Anybody here got access to the dealer tool or a mate who has ?.
