New meteor 350 rider

Hi there to all "Royaleros". I'm a new member of the forum. I'm from Argentina - Buenos Aires and a very happy owner of a Meteor 350 since 2 years ago, named as "Zara". Since I got her, I've done several trips through Argentina and Chile without any issue. I've been through storms, extreme hot and cold weather, mud, rocks, crossed rivers, etc...and "Zara" managed to bring me home always.
I enjoy a lot reading posts and seeing modifications to the Royal Enfield models to improve performance and appearance.

welcome Sergio, I hope you can spice up this thread with some pictures of your ride as well ....
do you use a action cam when traveling? are there any videos on youtube from your exploits?
if so please share!

Hi Sam, thanks! Actually I should, but till now I don't take a camera with me when travelling...I just ride and enjoy :). I take pictures but, normal pictures with my cell phone when I stop or see something that I like too much. Also, I don't have any video equipment, I should buy to record travels, probably in future I will do. For now, I share some of the pictures of my latest trip during february-march of this year that was about 6k kms of the national route 40 in Argentina, a pretty famous one.

You got a fair bit of kit loaded, does it still perform well?
Nice pics.

Well, in normal roads yes, it still performs well enough, of course slower reaction above 80km/h to reach top speed, but I still can reach top speed with time and space. Total weight of all that load in pictures is close to 45kgs, and I weight around 75kg. My Meteor is standard on the engine, so, top speed is 116-117 kms/h by gps...because of the limiter...feels like it can do a little bit more if it wouldn't be limited.
In uphill roads or very windy weather yes...full throttle can't go over 90-95kms/h...even in some roads I couldn't go above 85kms/h on 4th gear at full throttle but that was the worst cases that I felt...and...fuel consumption skyrockets!
