Irish re inventing the wheel?
Having had 3 Side Car Rigs on the road I agree with their measurements, none of it rocket science.
You need the side car wheel forward of the rear wheel otherwise turning away from the side car is difficult and turning towards it too sudden, the "Toe in" offsets the drag caused by the the side car and helps the outfit drive straight. The "lean out" of the bike from vertical is to accommodate the road camber and to maintain the upright stance of the Rig when loaded.
Lane splitting is the reason I would not have a Rig in the City, that advantage is lost and the rider gets wet when it rains.
