Price have gone thru the roof in the last 5 years and as crazy as it sounds, if you do not look at electricity (1/3 of Germany but extremely unreliable outside big cities) and fuel (half price compared to Germany) its often cheaper to live in Germany (as long as you use a solar charged e-bike).

These times of war are crazy. Forecasts at this moment are hard to do and unlikely to be significative in the long run.

How much is diesel / petrol in your country? Here is 2.16/l diesel and 1.78/l petrol but just because the government placed 1 miliard to help lower prices until the end of the month.

Price of fuel also reflect on price of goods and food at the supermarket.

In India 95 octane is already premium and is sold for approx 1 euro, in Germany its 2.1 euro. However in India "stretching" fuel will all kinds of fluids is rampant and also manipulation of the pumps (to show more that what was actually delivered).
For electricity the cheapest German rate is 0.32 euro per kwh for a household and in Delhi it is 0.08 Euro. That is extreme, especially as electricity in Delhi is very stable (not so in smaller cities). However India has reached almost 100% electrification. Why is it so cheap? Russian oil and lots of natural (water) generated - but of course the quality of the lines in many places is horrible and many hours of power failures force every serious business to always have a generator at standby. If that power is used the price hits 0.40 euro.
