Next week I shall unbox a Bullet 650 and take pics of course, I do not expect to be much excited by it as on the Web it looks like a Classic but am open to being impressed.
If the Top management of RE care, I want a Black and Gold one with alloy/tubeless wheels ;)

A friend of mine is leaving his SM with me to modify in the coming months, not really looking forward to it!

Seat is on the firm side, I expected it to feel like my 350 bullet.
Makes your legs feel shorter, perhaps it would improve after a period of ownership but I will never find out.

Frame is same finish as Super Meteor etc, looks to me like it would catch dust well.

Gold coloured plastic more like it!

Not fond of the 650 family, way too heavy for my taste...

More Classic than the Classic (650) but less so than the 350 Bullet and Classic  I like it more than the Bear, Interceptor or Continental but wouldn't like to pick any of them up.
Hotted up 350 is more fun to ride and lighter by 50kg or more.

almost same power to weight ratio!

Starting from a low base but getting there!
Im waiting for someone to produce plastic replica's of the fenders and covers :) less weight more power, what could possibly go wrong:unsure:

and now the 750 Hima, how wil that score when it finally arrives in 2027

I wonder to whom that machine is addressed... Heavy like an mammoth and still underperforming when compared to other adventure/touring bike... It will be cheaper for sure, but worth it?

750, probably 50-60 HP. good enough for adventure and still lighter than a BMW boxer. and half the price or less. There will be buyers and I may be one of them if I like it. Let's see.

Not entirely sure about being lighter than a Beemer, it's going to be north of 240kg... Surely cheaper, but not a lot cheaper than say a CF moto... I'd look into a 800MT-X, 210kg and a ton more power/torque...

My R1100R weights empty 215KG, the Interceptor 198KG, so yes, weight wont be a criterion. But being in India is and although its cheap in the rest of the world it will be dirt cheap in India. However, ultimately I may just settle for the Scram 440/500 I have now. 30HP is not 50 HP but 185KG is not 215 either. And really in India anything above 120kmh is suicide anyway.

Your point about speed is correct, meaning that the Hima 750 isn't addressed to Indian home market, but mostly to western countries. I bet in India any J outsells any 650 platform 100 to 1 (if not more), because there's no real need for power beyond 20-30 horses and the pricetag, weight difference and fuel consumption won't help.

So if the 750 is aimed for the international market it will be a very niche product, since abroad it will have to face a way tougher competition than domestic one! The price tag in Europe will be around probably 8-9k€ and that price tag is already overcrowded with better alternatives! Even the great giants are lowering their prices, there is now the BWM F800 base model that goes for 10k!

Being a western customer would you rather go for air/oil cooled touring machine or for a much more reliable and modern liquid cooled engine?

Choices in Motorcycles are highly irrational. Nobody would buy a Harley if that was different. Just the label Royal Enfield might help here. I still think the RE pricing will be below most others. But finally its the "rarity" issue and brand recognition IMO. Also: the adventure tourer in that segment is about the only box so far left unchecked by RE. There isnt much more they can throw at us unless sidecars become a thing again :p

Adventure motorcycles are a category that have never interested me,I bought a 411 because I could sit on it comfortable enough, it felt well balanced and looked simple enough for me work on.
From what I have seen of the 750 it looks Heavy and not simple to work on.
This looks like RE took too much notice of whingers on forums wanting a bigger version of the LS410 with a Twin.
I hope they enjoy it :ROFLMAO:, looks like a pig so far.

Believe it or not, my local dealer offered me a 650 in a 411 frame for about 2/3 of the price we expect the 750 to have. I declined remembering the shortcomings of the 411 frame. However, it would have been a unique ride at the time.
