Poor Finish IMO
Screws look to have come from the Hardware Shop!
At WOT is must have some effect on the air flow.

a few explanatory words would make it easier to understand what we see here ...
 
Throttle Body, 37mm , it didnt perform and I was looking for answers.
I think it looks very Agricultural the way the screws and heads occupy so much space.
The 2 holes are for the air bypass over the closed valve IAC idle air control so hot idle and cold idle are controlled by the valve controlling the flow through those holes while the butterfly valve/throttle valve is closed .
It was relatively cheap :confused:
 
compares to another albeit slightly larger throttle body the size of the shaft and holding screws.

If TBs are cheap in principle it gives hope for a fully programmable version of the TB/ECU combo at a relatively normal price point.
