There has been a small development in the 6 gear issue (discussed in the dev section) but nothing concrete yet.

The 300 bucks price "suggestion" may be a bit optimistic though.

miracles do happen, but as the kickstart developer is the same guy who is looking into the 6th gear and that project is advancing slower than the chinese economy at this point I would not realistically expect anything in the foreseeable future.
