LS 440 replacement parts catalogue?

If I ain't wrong is now more than a year the Scram 440 was released in India, so...

... does a spare parts catalogue with replacement parts number exist? At least in India?

Do you believe it would be possible to buy a crate 440 engine from the factory?

Can't see even second hand parts on eBay... no totaled bikes yet to serve as donators?

In general as of the advent of BS6 RE stopped distributing the catalogues as pdf to their dealerships. Now the catalogue is only available online and only for their own shops. Hitchcocks for reasons unkown also has access and makes them available on their site but only for model available in the west, so no 440.
You might be able to order an engine from RE in India but it will be around 1500 euros (based on the price for a 411 engine which should be similar) - the weight will not allow you to ship it any other way than via a container - good luck with that, its a paperwork nightmare, on the Indian and the europa side. also: the cargo handlers in the EU ports charge you almost as much as the engine costs.
You could pay someone here to disassemble it and send the parts in 20KG lots via post.
Bikes that are totaled do not exist in India. And the 440 is not available outside. Everything gets repaired bc work and parts are cheap.

Right, so crate engines are not viable options. Better hope is to find separate components to build up some upgrades.
Maybe it's just me and my searching, but apparently why are there no replacement or spare parts to be found maybe second hand on ebay?
On ebay I can easily find spares for the 411 shipping from India.

The initial launch of the 440 has been more than a year, but soon after launch they stopped production because of "quality issues". It only has been launched again recently, so the total number of bikes sold has been very low. And as Sam said, all bikes are repaired in India, especially new ones. 411 was launched in 2016/2017 so more chance of fnding used parts.

I do see more and more 440s with yellow/black plates. Initially there where very few bc everybody wanted the 450, but they must have reached the same conclusion I have, that the 440 is the better bike if you venture into the Himalayas. price wise there is little difference. If the 440 had the same instrument as the 450 it would definitely be superior. but unfortunately it share the same stupid simple thing the Hunter etc. has without rpm meter and no additional engine readouts.

your best bet is to source the part number and ask the service center to get it for you. if you out right ask for 440 parts they will deny it. just tell them its for 411, they automatically assume due to platform sharing its the same part.

Thanks for this tip, I'll try that out... even thou I ain't sure RE will send the parts to dealerships of western countries where the 440 is not to be sold.
Even thou actually a 440 moto traveller could be just passing by and need repairs while on his overland trip, so even an italian dealership should have access to the spare parts IMHO.
