For too long I have trusted a Mechanical 1/4" drive tension wrench, recently I had multiple failures when pulling down a Cam Cover at 14 Nm this involved multiple Thread repairs at which I have become quite proficient.

So I purchased this beauty, cant say Little Beauty because it is quite large ( 3/8 drive) and covers the Head Bolts as well as the Cam Cover its range is 5 to 50 Nm

The Mode I was using is preset where it shows torque in real time and alarms as you approach that preset then Alerts as you hit it.

I love those reviews where neither source nor price is mentioned ...:cautious:

Vevor! and the price would be dependant on location I imagine.
Me I payed 92 of my dollars, IMG_20231215_191701.jpg Error of 0.3 percent!

And I just got 20 dollars back for leaving a review!
I feel like a Paid Man

I also have a small digital torque wrench ( free from wife's work ) only goes up to 10Nm, so is a bit limited. It gives a bit more confidence then wondering if the mechanical one already had clicked and you might have missed it.

How is it on batteries? or do you remove them when not in use? It can be rather annoying when you have to nick the tv remote batteries to torque up a bolt.

Haven't had it long enough to qualify that.

Mine came with a coin sized tool to remove the battery cover, I think I have lost that but seem to recall unscrewing it last time.

still got a few coins 😉
