Based on this I think to get rid of the occasional knocking during acceleration from low rpm caused by the lousy fuel we have here I need to widen the head a bit with a dremel. It is now in stock configuration, 78mm - I will widen it to fit the cylinder to 84mm.
The only other option is to add one or two base gaskets but I think the head mod is the cleaner option.

In the west with "super" 100 RON gasoline (Shell V-Power, Aral Ultimate) available that should not be necessary.
