but since he is very busy it will be at least next year before he can start working on it.
Lol, that sounds like an actually good idea!On Dec 8 there should be a ZOOM party "1 year waiting for the kickstart"
If we ever get it this device will then be the ONLY reason to buy a "old" Hima - everything else is better on the new one <semi serious>
Retaining DNA? Does that mean that a factory worker who build the old Hima peed over a new one?Spoke to a Dealer today he says they have not got set pricing for Australia.
Says it's been described as retaining the DNA of the Himalayan
Well he would, wouldn't he?
this was a month ago, what came of it?Went to a local machine factory today specialized in making gears (established since 1904!),
Me showing clutch hub and 3d printed idle gear. Guy responds: mmm dat doesn't look like an ordinary tooth design, could be cutsom. Let me check it in our workshop. 10 minutes later seeing people flying aroud with measuring tools and a lot of talking. Comes back: Yes we got the tooling we can make this!
Left the parts behind so they can make a quote. Expecting big numbers but we will see.
To be continued...
Still waiting for the quote... We had some discussions in the meanwhile though for the construction of the sprocket. Often theses sprockets are equipped with a bronze or similar bushing, but apparently there is nothing available in the required dimensions. so it has to be made custom or figuring out how to do it without (like the starter motor idle gears)this was a month ago, what came of it?
I could send the link probably, but i dont know how to manage four different time zones... Someone's gotta go to the kickstart party in the mddle of the nightWell. You do not end up married to the hottest girl in town (most times).
Who's sending the link for the kickstart meeting?
