I have had this combo now for a roughly 1000km, mostly city and curvy country riding, no highway.

The Guerilla does surprisingly good- I can't vouch for any great additional power though there may be some, but too little to be obvious (in spite of the advertising), however the running culture has improved. Much less sputtering when cold, hardly any engine dying on sudden clutch pulling and overall more torque in the lower rpm, nothing like the bullet/j-engine but better that it was before.

It now handles sufficiently "nice" to have become my bike of choice for anything I don't use the scooter for (like short trips). Something I doubted would ever happen when I first got the bike.

I briefly considered developing a BB kit to 550cc just for the heck of it - but this bike as it stands already runs quite hot (there is a coolant temp display option, so no need for an external oil thermometer). A 550 could well overpower it's ability to cool sufficiently.
and 40 hp is more than enough for Indian roads. my personal top speed stands at 143 kmh, 110kg driver plus 2 hardcases full of luggage.
