Since the red box project consolidated I have been trying to squeeze everything from it... lots of testing and truly nothing has been able to beat Sasa's maps in feeling... MAP adjustments were impossible to finely tune... AI was involved at some point and it was VERY interesting how much interactive and informative tuning sessions can be. All in all, in order to theoretically take this to a "next level" you need a more precise ECU...

My Hima is a bike I will keep, to the extent of modifications it has taken, investing on a new ECU is something I can consider... probably something from MicroSquirt since I have found there is some experience with Contis but... what if I just simplify everything and put all that money and convert it to carburetor?

Very interested in what @Dool would say... My Hima is a true HT 477 (bbk + camshaft + red box - free flow intake - ported head - lighter valves - open exhaust) still pulling strong after 40000+ km since the 477 conversion.

A new year of tuning complications vs a guaranteed life of service simplicity?
