477 Installation - Timing Chain too short

exactly so there is a problem but where?

Is the problem solved?
Interested in the cause and not just the Symptoms.

This pic supplied, would appear to show a Chain that is not sitting in the sprocket correctly making it too short.

Pity some like to ask questions but seem reluctant to supply answers.
The poster has IMO a suspect address

I had a similar problem with my timing chain not fitting. I hadn’t torqued the head yet, so the head was at a higher elevation than it was with the stock parts. Once I torqued the head, all went in smoothly.

This is why it is so important to keep the chain tensioned during the process, if you are prepared to remove the flywheel then it is less important 😁
