After the questionable first shot at hand guards that would brake off after a simple drop of the bike in some situations RE finaly has a much better and more solid looking set available - at a price to be sure. now they attach on both ends, are fully metallic (the screen plates are still plastic) and are elongated compared to the older versions. Really like an elegant version of the barkbusters.
Because they are made to fit the Himalayan and Scram (and possibly other RE bikes) there is no fiddeling with adapter pieces etc. like with those chinese clones I use on all my other bikes. Attaching them is straight forward.
I forgot to take a picture but mine will be attached to the new Scram 440 and I will make sure you can then see them in all their glory once that has happened.
The price here is around 50 euros, probably double that in the "West". Still cheaper than Barkbuster originals but far away from the 10 bucks chinese versions.
