SPECIFIC INFO ON VALVE CLEARANCE CHECKS

;)Unique alright! I thought it was a load of drivel!
He says mostly crap, sure it sounds good ,,, when talking about the high lift Cam he doesn't mention bending Valves but when talking about setting the clearance a bit tight he warns of bending valves.
How the hell can you set the clearance a bit tight( we are talking of zero to a few thousands of and inch! ) and bend the valve :unsure:
HMC valves, he suggested that they are made of one peice and not welded:ROFLMAO: the unique difference between the Inlet and exhaust is just that! it is 2 different metals ( runnl a magnet along a valve, if the magnet sticks to the stem it proves it ferrous if it sticks to the Head then it proves that its the Inlet valve.
Some people should get their valve clearances done by a professional
The experts agreed a long time back that a tight 8 and 3 thou "Cold " was the spec :cool:
If someone has to have feeler gauges explained to them they are not likely to get it right in the beginning, if you don't have "feel" then you need a different gauge.
