Resurrection of the SCRAM?

ta da !
Well it seems a bit slow off the mark, Jan 2023 my 443cc did this,

RWHP not BHP! so add a couple or 3 hp to the chart and it seems to show 35 plus BHP!
The new Scram has about 10 HP less than some dope achieved over a year ago.

At least a tubeless option now, and 6th gear! Good thing they only added 1HP so our BB kits still have a future :)

I have been discussing this with someone in the industry and it was suggested that the numbers may be low on purpose

It would be interesting to see if the 6 gear version can be "adapted" to the BS6 Himas.
@barima's idea may get a new infusion of life.

Can not see why it would not fit, the gear position sensor may be required or may not be important.

This is definately something to look forward too and could save a lot of trouble designing the 6th gear. Hope the parts come available soon!

Glad to see RE squeezing the lifetime of the chassis and engine(and even upgrading). The longer parts get produced the better.

It should be the 6th gear sprockets for the main and countershaft and the shiftdrum at least. There migh be some bearings, shims and circlips needed as well depending on the construction. A parts catalogue would make our life much easier of course.
Also curious about the upgraded clutch in the Scram 440, not sure if this is in the clutch basket or the side cover (mechanism)

Head is designed like the J series, the Cover will probably be completely removed to adjust the tappets and they will have the Elephants foot type to reduce wear, expect the Cam will have an adjustable sprocket as well

Engine swap for just 1.1 HP and another gear, I think 5 gears is enough with the right amount of horsepower;)
This model may not be embraced by the dealers who already have so many models to clear from their floors and we are yet to see which markets they will go to.
