Oil temperatures during operation

I have done a rather brisk run though my favorite wood road for 30 minutes. This certainly is not like running 120 kmh for hours but more than casual riding at 60-80.
The sensor is placed at the oil sump as shown in the picture.

If i go highway at 90-110 temp rises to 95, when in very slow stop-and-go traffic for extended periods it will go as high as 125C by which time I will take a cooling down tea break.

Got 2 more results: first one is a swift run thru city traffic
the second is highway for 20 mins at 90-100kmh

This is the old BS3 carby 477 - still the fastest horse in the stable and much fun to ride. especially as there are zero problems doing it LOL. I understand everybody who goes for the Hitch carby conversion.
