I like the side thing. Is that a can for fuel? Nice mods.
Those are aluminium plates screwed to the lateral rails. Just a fancy thing...

Wonder where he got the Forks? I'm pretty happy with mine, finally, as I put the YSS Kit in and it's acting like a proper dampener now.
(PS: He makes pretty cool bikes!)

They are from a TM if I recall correctly (spoke to the guy a couple of weeks ago) but the interesting part is that the whole front end now is way lighter than before, as the triple clamp is aluminium and the forks are ligher than the stock Hima...

I have his rear suspension link, which raise the bike almost 3cm and makes the shock linkage more progressive.

Mechanically he knows what he's doing (works also as a mechanic in the Moto3 championship) but I'm not overly fond of his post apocalyptic style...

Mad Max you say? I'm kinda a fan myself; looks rugged which I think favors the idea of the bike over a polished effect. Mine isn't clean enough usually to pull that off anyway, so I might as well go full on Apocalyptic!! I wanna put a grinder to the side of the tanks to take it down to bare, swirly metal like he's done, then clear coat it. One of these days...

At any Rate I'd Love to get a set of his Rear Links to raise my rear end up; any idea how I could get these Sasa? Regarding the 'TM' Forks; what's TM? I'm intrigued by them and the Aluminum Clamps, but I think that I've gotta stop this project soon; it could literally go on forever I think!

TM is a very specialized enduro and cross manufacturer. He had that forks laying around in the shop and he adapted it to the Hima.
About the link you can find it in his website (carronas.com link) but it isn't exactly cheap and you should provide your like to him to modify it. Including bike down-time and shipping both ways, it is a quite expensive endeavor...

Forks clamp is something I'll design one day or the other, probably when I'll dismantle the front end to swap the bearings... I need to measure carefully fork distance and center stem. I did it in the past for my V65 Guzzi (see pic) and they came out great, only problem was fitting the stem.
In case of the himalayan, the stem is welded on the bottom part of the lower clamp and it cannot be reused, you need to make one from scratch!

Yeah that was a great bike to work on, rebuilt it from ground up... A very good learning exercise...

So what did you learn 😎
Well I learn how to rebuild a motorcycle from scratch… when I started the rebuild the biggest part I had was the crankshaft with the two rods! I had never dismantled an engine before, let alone a whole bike!
The inner functioning of the gearbox was mesmerizing, even though I had more than a cold sweat moments when I put it back together!
