As it is attached to the Sump plate I removed both, let more air flow under the Engine.
Is it supposed to be usefull ?

you are asking if the bash plate is useful or if more air flow is more useful?
I doubt air flow under the engine makes a difference but i can assure you that the bash plate takes hard hits from incidents where I hit the ground or a boulder on the road. It is quite deformed in my bikes with over 30,000km. Not sure how hard and bash resistant the engine housing is but replacing the bash plate is cheaper ...
 
mine are both in good condition :cool: I try to look where I ride.
