R REHNT Developer Developer 477 Owner Jun 8, 2024 #1 I'm just about to put the 477 block on and have conflicting reports on whether a gasket sealant is required for the base gasket. The gasket supplied doesn't have the in-built red seal, so yes or no for using a sealant?

R REHNT Developer Developer 477 Owner Jun 8, 2024 #6 All good, I saw a video on YouTube and they put aviation gasket sealant on it and then put a note over the top to say don't do it. I was also watching Revelry Racing's 865 conversion videos for fun and he was using different techniques again. Just wanted to be clear.
