Base gasket for 477

I'm just about to put the 477 block on and have conflicting reports on whether a gasket sealant is required for the base gasket.

The gasket supplied doesn't have the in-built red seal, so yes or no for using a sealant?
 
Please pm me your name so I can attach the 477 label. Regarding the bottom gasket we never in over 20 conversions used sealant, just the naked gasket.
 
We used both our and the OEM gaskets, there seems to be no difference.
 
We also re use the head gasket, at least once, but sometimes multiple times, yes,they get flattened but still do the job. With very few exceptions.
 
All good, I saw a video on YouTube and they put aviation gasket sealant on it and then put a note over the top to say don't do it.

I was also watching Revelry Racing's 865 conversion videos for fun and he was using different techniques again.

Just wanted to be clear.
