Lal is back - sort of ...

He is now again managing director but not of RE but of the Eicher conglomerate of which RE is only a small part. I doubt he will have a big influence on RE in the future.

I guess it depends on whether he's got any interest in RE. Was it just a stepping stone to the big job or did he really care about RE... and does he still? He could still smack the current bloke around the ears if needed but...

he could - but he has the same problem most dictators and emperors have, they need people to inform them and my guess is, the relevant data never reaches him. his underlings will sell him tripper as the next best thing after sliced bread. he is as disconnected from customer input as humanly possible. and my guess would be he rides a Harley, triumpf or BMW ... LOL

Rubbish, he rides a Himalayan with your 500 kit and an early version of your cam. My little voices told me so  😆

In Māori tradition patupaiarehe, also known as tūrehu and pakepakehā, were fairy-like creatures of the forests and mountain tops. Although they had some human attributes, patupaiarehe were regarded not as people but as supernatural beings (he iwi atua).
